ABOUT ANDREA
After being diagnosed with interstitial cystitis in her early 20s, Dr. Andrea became an advocate of creating health through diet, fitness, and lifestyle. Several years into this journey, she began to incorporate acupuncture and was amazed at how effective such a gentle modality could be. In addition to helping manage her IC, the treatments also improved her energy, digestion, and pain.
Andrea completed her Masters degree from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in 2015, and graduated with her doctorate in 2018. Since graduating, Andrea has focused her practice on gentle, non-invasive Japanese techniques. She is certified in the Toyohari Japanese Meridian Therapy system, and has also completed

extensive continuing education on Japanese pediatric acupuncture techniques, moxibustion, classical herbalism, and "no needle" acupuncture techniques. These modalities are great for people who are scared of needles or who have found acupuncture to be too intense for them in the past.
A believer in a healthy lifestyle as the foundation for wellness, Andrea is also a certified Pilates instructor and a trainer in the GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM®, and is a nutritional coach for the Autoimmune Paleo diet protocol. She loves working with clients who are searching for a well-rounded approach to achieving their best health.
Andrea practices out of reFORM Pilates & Movement and To The Point PDX in Portland, OR.
